影片中反映出来的是富贵与贫困，金钱与爱情的关系，从中刻画出人物的特点。门当户对迄今为止依旧是人们面临的阻碍，虽然当今时代人们的思想有所改善，然而那劣根仍存在人们脑海。记得，有部小说中说“富家子爱上穷家女，是霸占；富家女爱上穷小子，叫浪漫。”对这种说法，我是抱赞同的态度，就象杰克和露丝在影片中出现的画面，确实是浪漫的象征。他们的动作更是被现代人视为经典。可惜家族背景的偏差，现实的残酷在他们面前形成一道道阻拦。悲剧从一开始的时候就已注定存在。

我一直在想是 不是一定要以悲剧散场才能成为经典，是不是逝去的爱情才称得上永恒。如今这个花花世界里，很难相信这种刻骨铭心的爱情，爱情的本质依旧存在，然而爱情的质量却在悄然消失。在名利金钱爱情之间，选择爱情的廖廖无几。为金钱背叛爱情的，大有人在。我们是否应该象先人学点什么呢。是否应该发扬维护人类最神圣的爱情呢？

《泰坦尼克号》3D版本工程浩大，不论是时间还是成本，在规格上都堪比制作一部新电影。詹姆斯·卡梅隆参与了每一帧画面的转制过程，有300位计算机工程师为此辛苦了逾60周。
他们要画出每一个物体和每个角色脸部的轮廓，放进正确的深度位置，并且通过非常精巧的处理让这些效果完全融入并不留痕迹。因原版《泰坦尼克号》没有数字母带，所以转制3D从修复开始，先清理掉原来2D素材的噪点，尽量让影片像全新的。
团队在搭建人工湖、摄影棚的同时，泰坦尼克号巨大的船体模型也在艺术总监Charles
Lee的带领下建造着。一开始团队打算用临时的帆布来搭建这些场景，但是考虑到拍摄周期将会很长，最后决定使用钢结构。
为了进度，船上的布景建设必须同时进行。还有大部分的内部设施，舱餐厅、那个豪华楼梯等都是在墨西哥城制作完成，再拆开运到罗萨里托，再由工作人员装配起来 。
