電影創作主題曲的傑倫表示，創作靈感來源於功夫熊貓阿寶的成長經歷，從第一部到第三部阿寶始終不斷嘗試、挑戰，創造人生的各種可能性，使小深受感染，為了這首《功夫熊貓3》電影全球主題曲《Try》，派偉俊還特地飛到洛杉磯錄音，以國際級規格打造這首歌曲。
2016年1月29日上映的動畫電影《功夫熊貓3》在上海舉辦了音樂主題發布會，夢工廠動畫CEO傑弗瑞·卡森伯格現場宣布「華語樂壇天王巨星」周傑倫繼配音片中金猴角色後，將攜16歲愛徒派偉俊為《功夫熊貓3》創作並演唱主題曲。

歌曲背景
70年代初期，中國功夫和Disco舞曲是二種波及歐美主流國家的新熱潮。這種帶有自我解放及反抗意識的新節奏（當時）舞曲，是生活不可或缺的一部分。
那時的john travolta還是舞會王子，他著小喇叭褲的標志性舞步，帶動整個Disco風潮的熱力四射。由他主演的電影《Saturday Night Fever》可以看到70年代的各式代表性符號和全民皆舞的Disco瘋狂。正是在這種雙重背景下，《Kung Fu Fighting》誕生了。
